Profile of Speaker:

He has an industry experience of 23 years. Of these, 9 years in Machine tools and Real time monitoring, and the rest in Automotive. Topic Description:
Many delays in projects and failures in the products, can be traced to failure in interfaces. If the interfaces are identified and understood well, early in the project, most of the pitfalls due to missing interfaces can be avoided. Projects get delayed and end up with budget overruns due to missing interfaces or due to identification of interfaces late in projects. The aim of this presentation is to present my experience with some case studies, and a practical approach on how to minimize these issues in projects. The examples will be from Automotive projects, but people from other domains might also be able to draw a parallel to their domains.
Expected Take-away:
Practical and implementable check-points in projects to reduce cross-competency pitfalls
