PM Primer 2015: 

The 7th annual one day program on Project Management for the final year students of Engineering Colleges and B-Schools was held on 4th November 2015 at NIMHANS auditorium. Total 360 students from 30 colleges attended the program. During the day long program the students were given an insight into Project Management practices and its applicability in various fields. Additionally, students were given alternative career opportunities by two student entrepreneurs who shared their start up journey, on Product Management through Product Leadership Forum (PLF) and higher studies opportunity in Germany by DAAD.

PM Footprints
PM Footprints 9th Anniversary: The Chapter celebrated the 9th Anniversary of PM Footprints on 21st November 2015. PM Footprints, the flagship event of the Chapter was started in October 2006 and has been a part of regular activity of the Chapter for all these years. Every month, two speakers share their experience of Project Management in this forum. The same is very popular among the members and nonmembers of the Chapter. On this 9th Footprints anniversary function, the keynote speakers were Mr. Pramod Kulkarni, founder of Prerana and SATHI, the two NGO's helping the children, and Mr. Indraneel Majumdar, Tech Entrepreneur, Partner in Restaurants, Brand Consultant, and Novelist.
Huawei PM Accomplishments
Agile Foundation Program:   A oneday event that provides opportunity to learn about Agile Project Management and how it can be applied at your projects at workplace. This program is a beginner – intermediate level on Agile Project Management. The target audience is anybody who is part of an Agile Team or is planning to adopt Agile practices. Subsequent to this program, you can also undertake a two-day Agile- Advanced Program that is planned periodically and conducted by PMI Bangalore Chapter and in-effect helps you to take up PMI-ACP certification in addition to learning various flavors and nuances of agile.
Corporate Connect:   The Chapter joined hands with Integra Micro Software Services Pvt Ltd on 18th November 2015 and arranged a talk for their leadership and senior project team members. The topic was on “An organizational approach for Risk Management” by Mr. Vijay Seshadri. It was attended by 30 participants and they felt that the topic was relevant for their professional career.
