Agile Training Programs

 

The chapter conducts regular training programs for individuals with experience working on Agile project teams and aspiring to get PMI-ACP certified. The chapter also offers a one-day foundation program on Agile for those who want to just get exposed and acquainted with Agile concepts.

The details of the programs are as follows:

One-day Agile Foundation Program

This program has been conceptualized as a short program to get into foundations of Agile Methodologies and apply them on small and medium projects. Participants and PMI-ACP certification exam aspirants will also get 7 PDUs.

Two-day Agile Advanced Program

For those who want to pursue PMI-ACP certification and fulfil the mandatory 21 contact hour requirement, they can proceed to join this Agile Advanced Program after completing the Agile Foundation Program. Participants and PMI-ACP exam aspirants will also get 14 PDUs

The methodology followed in the Agile training programs consists of lectures, hands-on exercises and games. The program also includes Full-fledged play with Agile ARC. The presentation/concept sessions are based on PMI’s references and publications recommended for the preparation of PMI-ACP examination and tailored to the design of the exam which tests the candidate’s knowledge of Agile fundamentals.
 
 
Venue of training program:
The Royal Orchid Central Hotel,
Manipal Centre, Dickenson Road
Bangalore.
Please note only 16 participants can be accommodated on first-come, first-served basis.
PMI-ACP certification eligibility criteria
The candidate should have:

1) General Project Experience of 2000 hours working in project teams within the last 5 years. Active PMP or PgMP certification holder automatically satisfies this requirement.
 
and
 
2) Agile Project Experience of 1500 hours working on agile project teams or with agile methodologies within the last 3 years. These hours are in addition to the required General Project experience of 2000 hours.
 
and
 
3) 21 contact hours training in Agile Practices.
