PMI has tried to make the PDU reporting experience intuitive, but for those who are not aware, here is a quick guide on how to report a PDU after attending a PM Footprints session in Bangalore.
1.Go to ww.pmi.org and click on certifications
2.Under certifications, click on “Report PDUs on CCRS”
3.Login using your username and password to login to CCRS
4.Once you login, it will show the dashboard with your credential information. Click on “Report PDUs” from the left side menu
5.Once you click on Report PDUs, It will show the two broad categories i.e. Education and Giving Back. Select the appropriate sub-category under these
6. Once you select the appropriate sub-category, there are two parts to be filled in.
In first section, fill event information like Provider, Activity, Date started, and date completed etc. There are some optional information as well but it is not necessary to fill those.
In Second part, you have to choose the number of PDUs claimed in reach of the categories i.e Technical, Leadership and/or Strategic, check mark the claim and click on Submit.
Once the PDU claim is submitted, you will get an email from PMI on the submission. You will also get notified once the PDU claim is approved. You can track and view all information in the dashboard.
