India has made huge strides in improving the Quality of life over the last decade. Be it booking for travel, paying of bills & taxes, intra-city mobility, advancements in medical treatments, improvements in education systems, availing of banking services, awareness of environmental factors or magnitude of social projects, there has been a quantum leap in the way they have impacted our lives.

From Sports to Social Sectors, Police to Public Sector, Hazard Management to Health Care and Education to e-Governance – everything has changed and transformed our lives in a way we had never imagined in our wildest dreams. A tremendous amount of leadership and execution skills combined with deep passion, perseverance and self-belief has gone into making these changes. Our conference aims to bringing a glimpse of such endeavors in our environment, that have made a significant impact to transforming lives.

Project Management Practitioners are requested to submit abstracts and technical papers on the following themes for the upcoming PMPC 2014 scheduled from 20 – 22 Nov 2014 at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bangalore. The authors are requested to submit in advance an ABSTRACT of their paper so as to reach the Chapter on or before the 5th July, 2014.

The Technical Papers Review Committee would select the final papers to be published in the conference souvenir. Based on the quality, content, intent and relevance of the papers, some of the selected authors would be invited to present their papers in the conference.

The paper/contribution should focus on a subject pertaining to one of the four tracks. It is suggested that the following aspects are covered in the papers in each track:

  1. Case studies, Best practices, lessons learnt, examples from real world experiences in applying project management.
  2. Innovation and thought leadership in Project Management profession.
  3. Tools, techniques and proven frameworks/methodologies etc.
  4. Professional values, ethics in the project management profession.

Important Dates
The decision of the Review Committee shall be final. Since the proceedings of the Conference would be put up in the Chapter Website, authors are also requested to advise the Chapter upfront if there are any restrictions on any portion of the contents of their paper being transferred to the public domain.
