Synopsis :

This session is aimed at increasing the success rate of transformation projects and programs. Globalization and innovations in technology have significantly changed the way businesses are managed today and the rate of change is ever increasing; organizations need to keep transforming. Successful project execution is critical in delivering required results faster and remaining aligned to an organization’s objectives.

A professional approach can significantly increase chances of success of projects and programs. Projects that follow project management methodologies led by the leadership that is equipped with required knowledge and skills, have a significantly higher success rate as compared to the projects where the project leadership is not adequately skilled and knowledgeable. 

During this session we discuss the best practices for executing transformation projects and programs, taking the step by step approach through all the stages and aspects of the transformation journey. We will also discuss reasons for project and program failuresand skills required by transformation leaders.

The focus is on business leaders, transformation/project managers and students of business /project management with the qualitative information and knowledge to deliver the envisaged ‘value’ to organizations by successfully executing transformation projects and programs.

About
Deepak (Sachdeepak S Arora) has been a hands-on transformation leader / Project Manager for close to two decades. He has led and supported successful transformation programs for organizations like Ericsson, Unilever, IBM and L&T. He has worked in organizations like IBM, Sogeti _a Cap Gemini co., L & T Infotech and the Indian Air Force in senior management and leadership roles. He specializes in technology management for realization of business benefits and was certified as ‘IBM Senior Project Management, Project Management Professional and SAP consultant. He holds a Master in Business Administration, Master in Organization Behavior and Master in Psychology. He has presented and published many papers on project management, organizational change management and organizational transformation at various professional forums.
