PM Footprints:During the month two PM Footprints session were held .

On 1st March 2018, Mr. Deepak, CEO   Project Management CoE, spoke on the topic “Organization Transformation Projects & Programs – Challenges and successful Execution”.

On 15th March 2018,  Mr. Zia Mujawar, an Independent consultant, spoke on the topic “Data Driven Decisions Using Project Management Analytics”.


On 29th March 2018, Mr. K. Raghunatha, an Independent consultant, spoke on the topic “Project Manager Alignment to Dev Ops”.

All the three talks were well attended and received.

E&C PM Footprints:

The Footprints session of the E&C Forum was held on 17th March 2018. Ms. Jyothi Gupta, Senior Manager – Techno Commercial, of Synergy Property Development services Pvt. Ltd., spoke on the topic “Evaluation of Design Using Project Management Methodology”.

During the Second session, Mr. Manjunath Nagaraj, COO & Executive Director Virtual Worcon Pvt. Ltd., spoke on the topic “BIM for Reducing Stress on Project Stakeholders”. Both the talks were well attended and received. Both the talks were well attended and received.

The PMP QUEST training classes on the newly introduced PMBOK-6 edition was held on 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th March 2018.

Agile Foundation Course:

The two day Agile advanced Course was also held on 24th and 25th March 2018.

Bridge Course:

The Chapter also conducted a one day Bridge course to enable Practicing Project managers to get an insight into newly introduced PMBOK-6 standards. The course was held on 24th March 2018. Nearly 38 Members attended the program.

PM Empower:

The Chapter also conducted a 12 day PM Orientation and skill development program for the Civil Engineering Dept. students of Atria Institute of Technology.  The program was inaugurated on 19th February and was concluded on 3rd March 2018. 30 students of the college participated in the program. The program provided students an insight into the communication and leadership aspects of working in the Construction Industry. The Valedictory function was held on 8th March and the students were given certificates. Some of the construction Industry organizations made presentations on their activities. The feedback indicates that the program was well received and students have been benefited by the program.

The PMI Bangalore India Chapter felicitated Rajiv Nagarkatti, our cartoonist, who never fails to humor us in his Lighter Side of PM cartoon in PM Essence. Rajiv’s sense of humor and ability to see the lighter side of things in a PM context is much appreciated.
