Topic:Merger and Acquisition – An Outlook

Synopsis :

In current business scenario a lot of companies are preferring for merger and acquisition as part of their business expansion and existence. In real world organizations realized to exist in fast moving and dynamic environment, M&A is the best option.

Especially 2016-2017 is called the year of M&A where multibillion deals were signed between the companies.

In the PPT tried to explain one such project which was complex in all natures. Still through PMP framework it was one of the most successful and valuated project in semiconductor industry. This project which started with a lot of escalations turned to be flooded with a lot of appreciations from CXOs. Through this example of best practices, challenges and learnings participants can understand projects in M&A scenario thoroughly.

As the current business trend in on M&A, audience will have a concise understanding on the same. As well best practices, lesson learnt and challenges faced, those will be ready reference for them for understanding in future projects.

A BE (Electrical Engineering) followed by MBA in Marketing and systems. Started career in 2004 in Videocon (consumer durable) as Production engineer. Then continued the career in Exide Industries (pioneer battery manufacturing) as Production Manager.

In 2010 joined Hewlett Packard as Technology consultant. Led the project in SAP implementation in SAIL (Durgapur Steel Plant)

In 2011, joined TCS and worked in multiple projects. Was project manager in one of the M&A with a semiconductor client. Now working as a program manager in multiple manufacturing and merger projects.
