PM Footprints: During the month three PM Footprints session were held.
On 2nd August 2018, Mr. Krishnendu Das, Program Manager Tata Consultancy Services, spoke on the topic “Merger and Acquisitions – an Outlook…”.
On 16th August 2018, Mr. Muktesh Murthy, Practice Head Tech Mahindra, spoke on the topic “GDPR – Opportunities and Challenges”.
On 30th August 2018, Mr. Manjunath Nagaraju, Program Manager, Intuit, spoke on the topic “Program Management in Agile Environment”.
All the three talks were well attended and received.
The Second E&C Footprints Anniversary Celebrations:
The Second Anniversary of the E&C PM Footprints session was held on 18th August 2018 at Hotel Pride.
On the Occasion Mr. John Kuruvilla, Co-Founder and CRO, Kalpnik Technologies Pvt. Ltd., spoke on the topic “The need for Rapid Technology adoption in the Construction Industry”. The second speaker of the day was Mr. Pankaj Keswani – Managing Director/ Founder ALUFIT (India) Pvt. Ltd. He spoke on the topic “Curtain wall in India – Poised to Overtake the west”.
On the Occasion Mr. Vijay Paul, COO, Netserv Technologies, the Invited Speaker, spoke on an interesting topic “What they Don’t Teach in PMBOK!!!”
The celebrations included felicitating all the past E&C Footprints speakers and all also release of a Journal which has a compendium of all the 24 talks held during the past One year.
PMP QUEST: The PMP QUEST training classes on PMBOK-6 edition was held on 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th August 2018.
Agile Foundation: Agile Foundation course was held on 25th August 2018.
PM Fundamentals for NGO’s: Project Management is a science as much an Art. Everyone is involved in projects either formally or informally, large or small, commercial or not-for-profit, the underlying principles of managing the projects remain same. With this objective, the chapter conducted a half-day program on 18th August 2018. It was well received. Nearly 30 members from 12 NGOs attended. Our Volunteers Ms. Sujatha Sahu and Mr. Balakumar C., facilitated this program. Our Past President Mr. Vijay Paul took the participants through a Case study.
