Editor 2018

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that our chapter has won the ‘CHAPTER OF THE YEAR AWARD’ for the year 2019 in Category III (Large Chapter category (1501+ members) at the PMI Leadership Institute Meeting held at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

The timing of this award on the Chapter timeline could not have been better as PMI celebrates 50th anniversary and we ourselves are celebrating our 20th anniversary. Chapter President Lt Col L Shri Harsha (Retd) received the award at the 2019 PMI LIM meeting, USA.

The CHAPTER OF THE YEAR AWARD recognizes our efforts in spearheading professional initiatives and establishes the fact that we are leaders in the global advocacy of the project management profession. The chapter is proud to leave its footprints on the global network and continues to serve the project management community with same rigour and passion.

Our pride, recognition, contribution and excellence does not end here as our Chapter President gave us another moment to celebrate. Chapter President Lt Col L Shri Harsha won the prestigious PMI Eric Jenett Project Management Excellence Award – This award recognizes and honors an individual who has made outstanding contribution(s) to the project management profession or its practice through leadership, technical project management, strategic and business management acumen.

2019 is a special year for us on multiple accounts and I would like to thank all the volunteers who have contributed to the success; without their contribution and dedication it would not have been possible. Volunteer ecosystem is the backbone of PMI and we are all proud to be part of it. Being a volunteer gives us the opportunity  to undertake a plethora of activities in the progress and advancement of the Project Management profession.

Happy Reading… Enjoy and let’s stay connected!

Thanks and Best Wishes
