The Train 18 experience

Can we exploit the Atmanirbhar spirit to reach global standards in product manufacturing?

Relive the experience  of making Train 18

The Atmanirbhar spirit must transcend the stipulation of a certain minimum Indian manufacturing content to something bigger; concept to design to engineer to manufacture in our country.

This would truly harness the abundant talent available in the country and give them the confidence to innovate and deliver without any crutches from abroad and pave the way for making India a manufacturing hub.

The speaker will relive the experience of making Train 18 in India, without any transfer of technology with the IPR resting entirely in the country, as a small example of how this can and must be achieved.

3 key takeaways:

  • Purposeful and empathetic leadership is the key
  • Failures are stepping stones to success
  • Virtue is bold and goodness never fearful
