Academia PM Primer was launched in 2009. This is an annual event held by PMI Bangalore India chapter to cater to the student community. It is an initiative aimed at advocacy and creation of appreciation of the project management profession among the students. Over the last 8 years PM Primer had participation from over 50 colleges, around 1500+ students and over 100 student faculties. The program is a 3-hour session that gives the students an understanding of Project Management, highlighting the knowledge areas mentioned in the PMBOK. PM Primer is offered to final year Engineering Students and Post-Graduate Management students in Karnataka.
