Abstract
Companies operating in the construction industry need to increasingly rely on innovation and continuous improvement to remain competitive. Innovation in construction can be defined as the successful development and/or implementation of new ideas, products, processes, or practices in order to improve organizational efficiency and performance. Despite its importance, the application of innovation in the built environment is not very common. A lack of innovation culture leads to projects being unable to promptly respond to problems, constraints, and opportunities, which are vital for achieving a sustainable competitive advantage. The webinar will focus on discussing the attributes, process, and significance of establishing an innovation culture in construction projects.
The participants will understand the concepts of innovation culture and how to foster a continuous improvement culture in construction projects to enhance technology adoption & innovation in construction projects.
