September 2022
The Entire nation celebrated the 75th year of Independence by wholeheartedly participating and supporting the initiative of Har Ghar Tiranga! It was a treat and for the first time every Indian Citizen could hoist the flag and demonstrated unity and solidarity all across the country. The Vision of the Honorable Prime Minister of India is to move towards development and urged the youth to focus their energies towards making India a Developed Nation in the next 25 years.
We celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan that conveys the universally intrinsic message of Brotherhood and Sisterhood. By the end of the August month we celebrated the Ganesh Chaturthi, another mega festival that signifies the new beginning, good fortune, Wisdom and Prosperity.
16-year-old R Praggnanandhaa, India’s young grandmaster, defeated world number one Magnus Carlsen for the third time this year and it was a proud moment even though he came second on points at The Chess Olympiad 2022 in Chennai.
In this month we also celebrate Dr S Radhakrishnan’s Birthday. The story behind Teachers’ Day is that when Dr S Radhakrishan took the office of the second President of India in 1962, his students approached him to seek permission to celebrate September 5 as a special day. Dr Radhakrishnan instead made a request to observe September 5 as Teachers’ Day, to recognise the contribution of teachers to society.
We consider it a great honor to present to you the September edition of the PM Essence Newsletter.
To begin with we have two Guest articles - on Reimagining Leadership in the Post Pandemic World & Managing Stakeholders. Simple everyday topics for a PM but the ones that never fail to teach us something new every time! The PM footprints session of the month is an interesting session about Metaverse and why it is needed. Following that is the E&C PM footprints talking about why “Every Project is Close to your heart”. To conclude, there is an update about the chapter events & news.
We hope the September edition inspires you enough and the next month's edition shall bring us many more festivities & we look forward to reconnecting back in the Oct’22 edition!
Kindest Regards,
Team Essence
