Session Topic context-Why Change management?

It is noted that many organizations are good in project/ program delivery – but fail poorly in transitioning benefits to the business.

Studies undertaken by leading Management Consulting companies have noted that there is an undeniable correlation between project/ program performance, maturity level and change management.

The majority of the best performing / mature organizations frequently apply change management to their projects and programs.

Similar studies have noted that that projects and programs having a dedicated change management tract, had a distinctly higher level of program success in terms of benefits realization.

Now, change is ubiquitous. In the current wave of Agile, organizations also strive to imbibe an Agile culture and change the way they have traditionally managed projects and programs.

Organizational Change management covers what need to be done to drive change in large organizations to make the change real.

Speaker Profile

Ramani, Founder and Managing Director, GRT Consulting has over 25 years of experience in technology delivery and management consulting industry, spanning key account management, project, program and portfolio management (P3M), management consulting (with PwC Consulting), strategy/ portfolio development for IT and Client relationship management.

He has over 20 years of project/ program management including consulting experience, having successfully led multiple large projects/programs for ERP implementations, Business-Systems integration and IT strategy development. These projects/programs were implemented in diverse sectors – including in discrete and process manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, retail and finance.

Who is the target audience?

The session will especially be useful to senior project and program managers, transformation leads, process excellence managers and business managers – who are looking for guidance on implementing large scale projects and programs.

Session logistics

The session will run for about four hours on July 24, 2021, from 9 30 AM to about 1 30 PM (with brief breaks in between). It will be a virtual interactive session.
